There’s a saying that goes, "The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree." Well, it seems like that’s exactly what’s happening in Megan Hilty's family. This talented star, who's made a name for herself in Broadway and on the screen, has a little one at home who’s following in her footsteps. Her 4-year-old daughter, Viola Philomena, is showing some serious potential when it comes to singing and performing.
Mother and Daughter: A Bond Through Music
When you talk to Megan Hilty, it’s clear that she’s a mom who’s deeply connected with her kids. At just 4 years old, Viola is already a mini performer. Megan, who’s no stranger to the spotlight herself, opened up to Closer Weekly about her daughter's passion for singing. "She absolutely loves singing, and she’s doing it all the time," Megan said, beaming with pride. "My little girl knows exactly what I do, and she wants to be a part of it every step of the way. She was so upset she couldn’t join me today!"

After marrying her husband, Brian Gallagher, Megan realized there was more to life than just her career. “If there were more people like Brian in the world, it would be a better place,” she shared. Now, Megan finds herself juggling her work and her role as a mom to two incredible kids. It’s exhausting, but she wouldn’t trade it for anything. “I miss them so much when I’m away. Every dance party, every thought my daughter wants to share, every laugh—they’re all moments I don’t want to miss.”

Family Fun: Dancing and More
It’s not just singing that’s catching on in the Hilty household. Megan’s kids—Viola and her 2-year-old son, Ronan Laine—love to dance too. “They’re constantly grooving and moving. It’s hilarious because neither me nor my husband are particularly great dancers,” Megan admitted with a laugh. “We have no idea where they got it from, but it’s adorable to watch.”
Marriage and Balance: Keeping the Spark Alive
Megan and her husband, Brian, are celebrating six wonderful years of marriage this November. They’re each other’s biggest supporters, and their love has only grown stronger over the years. But how do they keep the romance alive with two young kids and busy careers? It’s all about making time for each other. “We try to carve out moments just for the two of us,” Megan explained. “It’s tough, especially when we’re traveling or working nonstop, but it’s crucial for our relationship. We have to prioritize our time together.”

Future Plans: Growing Their Family in a Different Way
While Megan and Brian are done having biological children, they’re open to expanding their family in other ways. “We’ve talked about adopting later in life, but for now, we’re happy with the two we have,” Megan said with a smile. “Creating more kids isn’t in the cards for us, but adoption is something we’re definitely considering.”
