When they dropped Lola off at her dorm back in August, it was a bittersweet moment for the family. Kelly opened up about the experience on her show, Live!, saying, “We moved Lola into her dorm, and it’s one of those things that you don’t realize how close the kids are until they’re not around as much.” She even joked that she didn’t realize she was pregnant with her third child because she was still nursing her second one. That’s how close they are!

Family Time: The Importance of Staying Close
Despite the kids growing up and living their own lives, Kelly and Mark still make family time a priority. As Mark shared with Us Weekly, “We know that these holidays are going to be almost coming up on the last we can all kind of dictate where they spend their holidays and [will] have to share that with their new families.”
Kelly added, “In the blink of an eye, your kids grow up and suddenly you are begging them to spend time with you.” It’s a reality that many parents face, but it’s clear that the Ripa-Consuelos family values their time together.
