Prince George's Upcoming School Curriculum Revealed

Listen up, friends! Prince George is all set to dive into another jam-packed school year at Thomas’s Battersea in London, and boy, does he have a lot on his plate. As the eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, George is ready to take on a curriculum that’s not only challenging but also packed with a variety of subjects to keep his young mind sharp.

More Than Just the Basics

According to the royal’s school website, little George isn’t just focusing on the usual suspects like science, math, history, English, and geography. Oh no, this little prince is getting a well-rounded education. He’ll also be diving into French, religious studies, computing, drama, physical education, art/design technology, and of course, music. That’s quite the lineup for a 6-year-old, right?

Year 2: A Time for Growth

As Helen Haslem, Head of Lower School, explains on the school’s site, Year 2 is all about growth. “The curriculum presented in Year 2 reflects the increased ability of the children, both academically and socially,” she says. “Individual strengths and talents begin to emerge, which you will undoubtedly begin to see.”

  • But it’s not just about the academics. Helen adds that Year 2 is also about taking on more responsibility. “The children are asked to become more responsible in Year 2; this may start with the children recording their own homework in their diaries. This increasing independence allows for a smooth transition to the Prep School,” she notes. Even after the school bell rings, George’s learning doesn’t stop. He’s got at least 10 minutes of reading every single night. That’s right, folks, this little prince is keeping busy!

    Expensive Education

While George is busy hitting the books, his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are busy paying the bills. According to Grazia Daily, the tuition at Thomas’s Battersea isn’t exactly pocket change — it’s close to $26,000 a year. And guess what? The costs are about to double. That’s right, Princess Charlotte is joining her big brother at the same school! The royal couple must be thrilled to have their little duo learning together.

Headmaster Simon O’Malley couldn’t be more excited. “We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea,” he says. “We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September.”

So there you have it, folks. Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be hitting the books together, making for a truly royal classroom experience. Who knows? Maybe they’ll even split the workload and make it a little easier on themselves!
