After Drew and Jonathan Scott, the dynamic duo known as The Property Brothers, worked their magic on the legendary Brady Bunch home, they've got another iconic television residence in their sights: the beloved Golden Girls house. This could be the next big project for these twin brothers who have a knack for breathing new life into classic spaces.
From The Brady Bunch to The Golden Girls
These 41-year-old brothers recently made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where they hinted at their next big project. “We’re thinking next, Golden Girls house,” Jonathan enthusiastically told the host, who is 37. Kelly Clarkson, the American Idol alum, was completely on board with the idea. “I want them to remake Golden Girls!” she exclaimed, clearly thrilled at the prospect.

“I will play Blanche!” Drew chimed in with a playful grin, showing his enthusiasm for the project. Jonathan then went on to explain the intricate process of recreating the Brady home, emphasizing the challenges they faced to make it authentic. “Most people didn’t realize that when you saw the exterior on ‘The Brady Bunch,’ it was just shot for the exterior, but the whole set was actually in a studio,” Jonathan elaborated on the daytime talk show. “Nothing matched because it was a two-story set supposed to be in a split-level home. So, HGTV stepped in and bought the actual house instead of letting developers flatten it, and we renovated it to be the real space.”

Reviving Nostalgia with The Brady Bunch Home
The siblings, along with other HGTV personalities, have already made a significant impact with their recreation of the Brady home. After HGTV paid a whopping $3.5 million to purchase the house from the original owners, they went the extra mile and reunited the Brady kids: Eve Plumb, Christopher Knight, Barry Williams, Mike Lookinland, Maureen McCormick, and Susan Olsen. “It was amazing,” Drew said, reflecting on the emotional reunion. “The emotions were on high when all the Bradys came back through the house. It was like stepping back in time.”

Even Maureen McCormick, who portrayed Marcia Brady, was left speechless by the experience. “Very surreal. Very surreal,” the 63-year-old exclusively told Closer Weekly, describing it as an “out-of-body experience.”
