Christie Brinkley Expresses Love and Support for Her Daughter Sailor
Christie Brinkley is opening her heart about her daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook’s elimination from Dancing with the Stars. Just days after Sailor was voted off the show during season 28 on Monday, October 21, the legendary supermodel took to Instagram to share her feelings on her daughter’s incredible journey. In a heartfelt post, Christie expressed her admiration for Sailor’s dedication and talent, proving once again why she's one of the most iconic figures in the entertainment world.
“Dear Sailor and Val, thank you for your work that brought us beauty and joy!” the 65-year-old beauty wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, October 23. “May you both always have a song in your heart that keeps you dancing with wild abandon through a grateful life of exhilarating joy! You don’t need to be on a TV show to keep smiling and dancing … and that’s the ultimate prize!”

Christie's Journey and Sailor's Big Moment
For those who follow the National Lampoon’s Vacation actress, Christie was initially cast for the latest season of the reality TV dancing competition. Unfortunately, she suffered an accident during rehearsals that left her with a broken arm and shoulder, forcing her to step down. However, in true Christie Brinkley fashion, she quickly announced that her daughter Sailor would take her place, just hours before the new season premiered in mid-September. This decision not only showcased Christie’s adaptability but also her unwavering support for her daughter.
