As the aroma of turkey and pumpkin pie fills the air, Thanksgiving 2019 is finally here! The ladies from the hit CBS daytime talk show, The Talk, gathered together to share their heartfelt holiday plans with their families. Hosts Marie Osmond, Sharon Osbourne, and their fellow TV personalities opened up about how they'll be celebrating this special occasion during the November 27 episode.
Marie Osmond's Break From Tradition
Marie Osmond, the ever-charming 60-year-old star of Donny & Marie, revealed a surprising twist to her Thanksgiving plans. "This year is going to be different," she shared with her fellow hosts during a warm Friendsgiving celebration. For the first time in years, Marie won’t be the one cooking. "I’ve been cooking for my mom every Thanksgiving since I was 14, but this year, I’m taking a break." Instead, she's heading to Oregon with her daughter, Brianna Schwep (née Blosil), who doubles as her makeup artist on the show. "We’re going to visit all her in-laws, and I couldn’t be more excited," she added with a smile.

A Healthier Thanksgiving for Marie
While Thanksgiving is typically a time to indulge in rich, hearty meals, Marie is embracing a healthier approach this year. "The family I’ll be with is very conscious about their food choices," she explained. "There’ll be no butter, no sugar—just clean eating. But trust me, they say it’s still going to taste amazing!" It’s a refreshing take on the holiday, proving that you can still enjoy delicious food while being mindful of your health.
Sharon Osbourne's Family Gathering
For Sharon Osbourne, the holiday is all about reconnecting with her loved ones. The vibrant 67-year-old former music executive is thrilled to spend the day with her husband, the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, and their wonderful children—Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. "This Thanksgiving, my husband and I are heading over to our son Jack’s house," she beamed. "And guess what? He’s doing all the cooking!" Sharon couldn’t hide her excitement as she mentioned Jack's girlfriend, Aree Gearhar, who recently joined him at the AMA Awards. "It’s going to be such a lovely day," she gushed.
However, Sharon expressed a bittersweet note about the holiday. "The only downside is that our grandchildren will be with their other grandparents in Louisiana," she shared. "But family is family, and I know they’ll be having a great time too." Her heartfelt words reminded us that while distance may separate loved ones during the holidays, the bonds remain strong.
Sheryl Underwood and Eve: Work Meets Play
Not all of the The Talk ladies are taking a complete break from work this Thanksgiving. Sheryl Underwood and Eve are keeping things lively by adding a bit of work to their holiday festivities. "I’m actually heading to London to perform on Thanksgiving," Eve revealed, showing her commitment to her craft even during the holiday season. Meanwhile, Sheryl Underwood is jetting off to New Orleans. "I’m going to be there as a multi-year ambassador for the Bayou Classic," she shared with pride. It’s a testament to her dedication to community and culture, even during the holiday season.
