Recently, while attending the #SupportYourGirlfriends Pow(H)er Awards in New York City on November 19, the legendary journalist opened up about what she’s most looking forward to this festive season. And, let me tell you, it’s all about family traditions and togetherness.
“You know, my husband, Bradley Raymond, is all about traditions, and I have to admit, I wasn’t always the biggest fan,” the 53-year-old Soledad shared exclusively with Closer Weekly at the event. “I’m not the best at keeping track of things—I even have to write everything down! But Bradley? He loves traditions. And so, we’ve made it a point to travel every holiday season. It’s become our thing, and I couldn’t be happier about it.”
Family Traditions: The Heart of the Holidays
Soledad, who shares her life with daughters Sofia, 19, and Cecilia, 17, as well as 15-year-old twin sons Jackson and Charles, revealed that while Thanksgiving is always a highlight for her, she doesn’t exactly take the lead in the kitchen. “Bradley is the Thanksgiving guru. His mom is the real chef, and I’m just the one who makes sure everything gets to the table,” she joked. “I can’t cook to save my life, but I’m all about making sure the experience happens. You could say I’m the logistics queen!”

Even though Soledad isn’t the one slaving over the stove, she has nothing but admiration for the special traditions her family has built together. “Bradley’s love for traditions is truly what makes our holidays magical. It’s something the kids really look forward to, and it’s brought a lot of joy to our lives,” she gushed. “I’m all about supporting this tradition. I’ll do the dishes, clean up, whatever it takes. That’s my contribution, and I’m happy to do it!”
