Just hours after actor James Van Der Beek revealed that his wife, Kimberly Brook, had suffered a miscarriage, Kimberly took to Instagram to share her own thoughts and update her followers on her health. Her heartfelt message provided a glimpse into the emotional and physical challenges she faced during this difficult time.
Kimberly Shares Her Heartfelt Message
“Thank you everyone for all the love,” Kimberly said on Monday, November 18, in an Instagram Story. She expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support she had received from her fans and friends. “I don’t even know how I’m going to begin to respond to it all so I think I’ll just have to do it here.”

Kimberly Reflects on Her Ordeal
“In 48 hours, we lost our baby — a boy, by the way — and I almost lost my life,” Kimberly revealed. She bravely shared her experience, acknowledging the gravity of the situation. “Which is not a story that has been told, but at some point, I can dig into the details with you guys about what happened in the emergency room.”

James revealed the heartbreaking news just before he was eliminated on Dancing With the Stars. The night was particularly tough as he had to deal with both personal and professional challenges. Competitor Ally Brooke, noticing the emotional turmoil, even tried to give her spot to James, showcasing the incredible support the couple received during this tough time.
“And James got eliminated from Dancing With the Stars,” Kimberly said, still processing the events. “I’m pretty shocked. It’s worth noting that Ally is an amazing dancer and we love her like family. She tried to give her spot to James, she even attempted to quit the show. She’s truly a little angel.”
