Let’s be real for a moment—Jerry Seinfeld, a guy who’s made millions laugh with his comedic brilliance, saw something pretty special in his wife, Jessica, the first time they met. And guess what? It wasn’t just her looks. It was her sense of humor. Two decades later, it’s clear that the spark hasn’t dimmed. In fact, it’s only gotten stronger.
At the Good+Foundation 2019 Bash, hosted by FIJI Water and held at the picturesque Victorian Gardens in Central Park, NYC, the power couple took the stage to talk about their marriage. They discussed how they’ve remained each other’s biggest supporters through thick and thin. “Jessica’s got a killer sense of humor. It was our connection from day one,” Jerry told Closer Weekly in an exclusive interview. “We have a blast together. She’s quick, sarcastic, and has all the qualities I admire in a person. She’s sharp, witty, and she knows how to call out the nonsense in life.”
“All the badness!” Jessica quipped, chiming in with her own take. “I love his humor. Jerry’s jokes make me laugh so hard that I cry. We spend our days making each other laugh till tears stream down our faces. It’s such a gift to share this kind of connection with someone you love.”

Anniversary Reflections
As the conversation turned to their upcoming wedding anniversary, Jerry couldn’t help but reflect on the passage of time. “We got married in 1999. Back then, I thought the math would be simple, but it’s not. It’s completely baffling. Is it really 20 years?” he asked his wife. “So this December will mark two decades? Wow. That’s incredible,” he marveled, his voice filled with awe.
A Partnership Built on Mutual Support
While humor is the foundation of their relationship, the Seinfelds also excel at supporting each other in meaningful ways. Jessica, the founder of Good+Foundation, spoke about their partnership. “It feels so natural. I don’t think we consciously decide to support each other—it just happens. I adore what Jerry does, and I fully back his work. He’s been a rock for me from the start, listening, watching, and encouraging me every step of the way,” she explained. “He genuinely loves the work I do and loves me. That’s why he naturally wants to be there for me.”
