Let’s talk about the one and only Jennifer Aniston, shall we? You know her as Rachel Green from Friends, but she’s been making waves recently for reasons beyond her iconic TV roles. In a recent appearance on The Talk, Jen opened up about a surprising crush that has nothing to do with Brad Pitt or Justin Theroux. Instead, her heart is set on someone who might surprise you: Steve Carell. That’s right, folks, the man behind The Office is now officially on Jen’s radar.
When Jen Met Steve: The Crush That Stole the Show
It all went down on Friday, June 15, when the 50-year-old star dropped by The Talk to chat about her latest project, The Morning Show. This Apple series features a stellar cast, including none other than Steve Carell himself, alongside Reese Witherspoon. Guest cohost Vanessa Williams couldn’t help but ask about a rumored "secret crush" within the cast. And guess what? Jen didn’t hold back. “Yes, that was Steve Carell,” she admitted with a grin. “He’s like a silver fox now. He just came in, and no one expected that. Everyone was so cute. And he’s so shy, and fantastic.”
Steve Carell: Aging Like Fine Wine
Let’s be real for a second—Steve Carell has been around for a while, but as Jen so eloquently put it, "He gets better with age." The The Office star has been happily married to his wife Nancy since 1995, and they’ve raised two beautiful kids together. But despite his happily-ever-after at home, it seems like his charm is still turning heads, even among A-listers like Jennifer Aniston. While Jen herself is currently single, she’s got a lot on her plate, and dating just isn’t a priority right now.

No Time for Tinder: Jen’s Take on Love and Dating
When asked about her dating life, Jen wasn’t shy about sharing her thoughts. “Am I on OkCupid? No. I have zero time, to be honest,” she confessed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar published on May 6. Her focus right now is on her work, particularly her upcoming series First Ladies. “Dating has not been one of my first priorities. I feel like whatever [romance] looks like, it will present itself, and it’s not about seeking it out, you know?”
But don’t count her out of the love game just yet. “When it comes knocking, it’s going to be welcomed. I’m not like, ‘No, I’m done with that. That’s never going to happen again,’” she added. Jen believes in the idea of multiple soulmates rather than the one-and-only concept. “I think we have many soulmates. I don’t think there’s one and one only. I think we have soul clusters,” she explained. “I’ve had some of my friends for 35 years. I think we’ve all made some sort of unconscious agreement. It’s like when certain groups of people meet, they form a little soul cluster—a sort of common group of souls who have been put together.”
