Listen, we all know motherhood is no joke, right? But Hilaria Baldwin? She’s taking it to the next level. This mom isn’t just keeping her kids healthy—she’s involving them in her workouts! That’s right, folks, she’s breaking a sweat with her little ones in tow. Now that’s what I call commitment!
At just 35 years old, this yoga instructor isn’t just teaching downward dogs and sun salutations; she’s also a content creator, sharing workout videos on her Instagram. And guess what? Many of those videos feature her adorable kids. In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Hilaria opened up about her philosophy. “These habits are formed when we're young,” she said. “I’ve been exercising my whole life, starting with dancing at the age of two. I’ve always loved moving, and now I want to pass that love on to my kids.”
View this post on InstagramMommy is happy tired…I know we have been using “self-care” a lot recently. It’s so important….especially when we feel so stretched thin as parents. One of my favorite ways to give back to myself is focusing on my health. If I feel good, I’m capable of such patience and happiness. I’m a better mom, partner, friend, human. We all know that I am a big advocate of exercise and healthy eating. I’ve also been learning so much about skin care. I hope you listened to @dermatologyandlasergroup on @mombrain this week. Dr. Akhavan is amazing…especially for a mama who is breastfeeding and still interested in having another kid. I love his versatility and his ability to take care of my skin in a way that feels safe for my body and my babies—without crazy chemicals that could be harmful. I hope you enjoy the podcast. From Jane Fonda to Teaching Yoga: Hilaria's Fitness Evolution
Let me tell you, this mom wasn’t always into fitness routines with her kids. Growing up, she was a huge fan of Jane Fonda and Tamilee Webb. Remember those “Buns of Steel” workouts? Yeah, she was all about that. But now, Hilaria has taken her passion for fitness to the next level. Partnering with Tom’s of Maine to promote their Women’s Natural Strength Deodorant, she explained her philosophy. “Since I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to be a fitness instructor. I want to teach my kids that moving your body isn’t a chore—it’s fun! If you move, you feel good, and that’s the best gift I can give them.”
Meet the Baldwin Family: Four Kids and Counting
Hilaria and her husband, the legendary actor Alec Baldwin, have built quite the family. Together, they have four beautiful children: Carmen, 5, Rafael, 4, Leonardo, 2, and Romeo, 1. Now, if you think about it, raising four kids is a full-time job in itself. But Hilaria doesn’t let that stop her from staying active. In fact, she’s managed to turn motherhood into a workout routine. “I’ve got a daily practice on my Instagram,” she once told Us Weekly. “These are what I call ‘found moment workouts.’ You know, being a busy mom, I don’t always have time to go to the gym for a full hour.”
So, what does that mean? It means she squeezes in workouts wherever she can. Five minutes here, two minutes there, three minutes later—it all adds up. “Every little bit counts,” she said. “And when I put it all together, it equals a full workout. Plus, I still find time to teach yoga classes. It’s all about balance, folks!”
Staying Active: Hilaria’s Secret to Success
Hilaria’s approach to fitness is simple yet effective. She believes that staying active isn’t just about working out at the gym; it’s about incorporating movement into everyday life. Whether it’s playing with her kids in the backyard or doing a quick yoga session in the morning, she’s always moving. And guess what? It’s paying off. Not only is she keeping herself in great shape, but she’s also instilling healthy habits in her children.
