Now, this is a story that’ll make you say "wow"! John Travolta, the legendary actor, recently opened up about a truly unforgettable experience with one of his fans. While he’s always been known for having a great relationship with his supporters, there was one instance where things got a little too personal.
Let me tell you what happened. Back in the day—about 30 years ago, to be exact—John was living in Santa Barbara when someone snuck into his house. Can you imagine that? He went to open his closet, and there she was! “It scared me at first,” John admitted to People magazine. “But as it turned out, it was just an innocent young woman who wanted to meet me and didn’t know how to do it properly.”

John Travolta Talks About Fans and His Latest Movie
Fast forward to today, and John Travolta is still all about his fans. In fact, he’s currently starring in a new film called The Fanatic, where he plays Moose, a super intense fan of action star Hunter Dunbar, played by Devon Sawa. Now, while Moose might be a little over the top, John himself has a completely different take on fandom.
“You’ve got this golden ticket around the world,” John says. “So what if you have to sign autographs or take pictures? For me, it’s not a big deal. It’s a small price to pay.” You see, John understands what it’s like to meet your idols because he’s been there himself. “I grew up loving Jimmy Cagney,” he shares. “When I finally met him, I was completely blown away. And Gérard Depardieu, Paul McCartney, Barbra Streisand—these are the legends I looked up to.”
But There's One Person He Loves Most
While John may have been starstruck meeting those icons, there’s no doubt who tops his list: his daughter, Ella. The 19-year-old is following in her dad’s footsteps as an actress, and John couldn’t be prouder. “I’m ridiculous,” he laughs. “I’m behind the camera mouthing every single word she says, copying her moves. My wife, Kelly Preston, thinks it’s hilarious.”
But Ella loves it. “It actually helped so much knowing that he was there,” she says. “He would come up between scenes and check on me, and I knew he was watching closely, making sure everything was good.” It’s clear that John’s support means the world to her, and their bond is truly special.
