This special serves as yet another reminder of just how much the Brady Bunch continues to resonate in pop culture. Author Kimberly Potts, whose book The Way We All Became the Brady Bunch: How the Canceled Sitcom Became the Beloved Pop Culture Icon We Are Still Talking About Today is set to release in December, shares her thoughts in an exclusive interview. She muses, "When you watch interviews with them, like their recent appearance on the Today show or during the premiere of the renovation series, you can see they’re genuinely surprised by how many people not only remember the show but truly love it. They’re realizing anew that The Brady Bunch does have a significant place in pop culture and TV history, which isn’t always something they’ve felt from fans."
Brady Bunch: A Legacy of Love
Kimberly hopes that most fans already know what Barry, Maureen, Eve Plumb, Christopher Knight, Susan Olsen, and Mike Lookinland have been up to over the years. However, she believes her book will shed even more light on their post-Brady journeys. "Understanding their backstory," she explains, "makes watching the renovation series and their upcoming projects even more enjoyable. For instance, the Christmas special of the renovation series, which I believe is airing in December, is going to be a blast."

Kim adds, "The excitement people have for the cast makes these reunions extra special. Fifty years later, they still look great, seem to be having fun, and are genuinely embracing the love fans have for the show. The Christmas special is going to be a lot of fun. The idea is to celebrate Christmas inside the Brady house with them. I saw some Instagram photos from the filming, and there were even reindeer on the roof!"
