Tori, the proud mom of Liam, 12, Stella, 11, Hattie, 7, Finn, also 7, and Beau, 2, with her husband Dean McDermott, knows that not every family member is on board with the costume fun. “They range up to 12 and they have different ideas of what they want to do for Halloween,” she admitted. But hey, that’s family life for you—full of compromise and creativity.

Despite the varying ages and preferences of her children, Tori joked that she still gets a little wiggle room with the youngest, Beau. “I can still kind of get away with still putting on [Beau] what I want and making him a family costume,” she quipped. Aww!

Mom-Shaming and Standing Her Ground

Now, let’s talk about that time Tori stepped out with her daughters, Stella and Hattie, for a party where their hair was dyed pink. Unfortunately, not everyone was as supportive as they should have been. Some mom-shamers criticized her for the pink hair, but Tori wasn’t having it.

“It was like Halloween costumes in pink and it washes out the next day. It wasn’t dye at all,” she firmly stated. “It was a costume dress party where girls can be anything they want to be and screw the shamers!” Way to go, Tori!
