Yeah, it wasn’t easy to talk about. It was absolutely devastating.”

Sarah and Todd tied the knot back in 1988, and though their wedding was beautiful, Todd claimed in his divorce filings that living together as husband and wife had become “impossible.” Yet, Sarah always viewed marriage as a sacred and beautiful union. “To me, marriage is so incredibly important as the foundation of our nation,” she told James. “It strengthens America by providing family security, and I’m not ready to let mine be split apart. The prayer would be for God’s will to be done, but also for Him to remind us that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.”
