There’s a good chance you’ve grown up watching Lesley Ann Warren in iconic roles like Cinderella in the beloved 1965 TV musical, laughing at her Oscar-nominated performance as a ditzy mob moll in Victor/Victoria, or cheering her Golden Globe-winning turn in the miniseries Harold Robbins’ 79 Park Avenue. Even if you’ve played along with her as Miss Scarlet in the film adaptation of the board game Clue, her career has left an indelible mark on pop culture. But if the thought of her now being 73 makes you feel old, Lesley Ann certainly doesn’t share that sentiment.

“This is such an incredible time for me,” Lesley exclusively shared with Closer Weekly, in the magazine’s latest issue, currently available on newsstands. “I’ve been in the business since I was 17, and now I’m finally embracing what’s on my plate without the pain and frustration that comes with being a younger actor. Anything I do now that I truly want to do feels like a gift,” she said with a sense of gratitude and joy.
