My condolences to his beautiful wife, Samantha Harper Macy.”

The Future of 'Maude': A Creator's Perspective
When asked about the possibility of rebooting All in the Family, the show that spawned Maude, creator Norman Lear made it clear that he has no plans to revisit the classic series. Speaking to Deadline this past July, Norman said, “I have no intention of doing All in the Family again. I promise you that… no Maude or any of them. We did that.”
While Norman may not be revisiting Maude, he’s still got plenty of exciting projects on the horizon. He’s thrilled to continue bringing fans new episodes of One Day at a Time, the reboot of his 1975–1984 series. After Netflix canceled the show, Pop TV stepped in to keep the series alive, much to the delight of fans everywhere.
