On December 20, the Duke of Edinburgh, then 98, was admitted to the King Edward VII Hospital in London for observation and treatment related to a pre-existing condition, according to an official statement. Thankfully, he was released after just four days, but the Queen remains deeply concerned about his ongoing health.
Another source recently told Closer Weekly that the Queen is genuinely worried. “She can’t imagine life without her husband by her side. It’s a thought that haunts her every day,” the source revealed. While Philip is back home, he’s still on the road to recovery, and the Queen is doing everything in her power to ensure his comfort and well-being.
