It’s a family affair! Candace Cameron-Bure and her famous sibling, Kirk Cameron, are finally teaming up on screen again after decades apart. Surprisingly, these two iconic siblings haven’t shared much screen time over the years, but now, they’re changing that. In a heartwarming twist, Kirk, 49, makes a special guest appearance alongside Candace, 43, in the fifth and final season of Netflix’s beloved series Fuller House, which premiered on Friday, December 6.
A Surprise Appearance That Fans Will Love
“My brother Kirk is in an episode this season, and let me tell you, it was such a blast,” Candace exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly in a new video interview. She couldn’t contain her excitement as she shared the details of this nostalgic moment. “It felt like stepping back into the '90s for a little bit. Not only was Kirk there, but Lisa Loeb, the legendary singer-songwriter, also made an appearance. And guess what? I got to direct the episode! It was truly a dream come true to direct my own brother. It was surreal, and it brought back so many memories.”
A Walk Down Memory Lane
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time these siblings have shared the screen. Back in the late '80s, Candace appeared on Kirk’s hit sitcom Growing Pains for two episodes, and Kirk made a cameo on Full House during its original run. That means it’s been roughly three decades since they’ve acted together. This reunion on Fuller House marks a significant moment for fans who grew up watching them both.

Brotherly Bond on Set
Candace reminisced about their earlier collaborations, saying, “My brother and I acted together back in the day, but since then, we haven’t had the chance to do anything together. Until now, that is. Season 5 of Fuller House brought us back together, and it was everything I hoped it would be.”
When asked about working so closely with family, Candace shared, “You’d think it might be stressful, but not with Kirk. He walked onto the set like he’d never left. He was hilarious, supportive, and proud of me for directing. He kept saying, ‘Candace, just tell me what you need.’ I’d give him directions, and he’d deliver every single time. I tried to find ways to give him a hard time, maybe even fire him on set to stir up some drama, but I couldn’t because he was absolutely amazing.”
