Let’s get real for a moment. If you’ve been keeping up with Candace Cameron Bure, you’ll know she’s got her hands full with family life and her career. So, when it comes to her time on The View, it seems like she’s more than content to leave that chapter behind. In a candid chat with Tamron Hall, the 43-year-old actress opened up about why she doesn’t exactly yearn to return to the talk show.
Why ‘The View’ Isn’t on Her Radar
Now, here’s the scoop: Candace isn’t exactly longing to jump back into the world of daytime talk. “I don’t miss it,” she revealed to Tamron Hall. “I miss the people. I’ll be honest, I’m going to hop over after the show and go say ‘hi’ because they all are friends and feel like buddies.” That’s some major real talk right there, folks. While the camaraderie was a bright spot, Candace admits that the daily political discussions weren’t her cup of tea. “But I don’t miss talking about politics every day. I want to stay in happy land. I want to be in a bubble where I just want to be kind and respectful and love on people,” she explained.

Her Two Seasons on the Show
For those who might have forgotten, Candace spent two seasons on The View, rubbing shoulders with some heavy hitters like Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symoné, Michelle Collins, Joy Behar, and Paula Faris. But let’s be real—this isn’t the first time she’s opened up about her feelings regarding her time on the ABC talk show. During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, she spilled the tea. “I don’t miss ‘The View’ at all,” she admitted. “I love being on talk shows, I love hosting talk shows, but that was a hard job every single day, talking politics.”

She continued, “That was the easiest part for me, to be able to talk about my faith and share my faith. But I’m happy right now not to be on that show and talk about lighter topics instead.” It’s clear that Candace is all about spreading positivity and kindness these days, and she’s got plenty of other things keeping her busy.
A Busy Life as a Mom and Wife
Speaking of busy, the Full House alum is juggling a thriving career alongside raising her three children: daughter Natasha, 21, and sons Lev, 19, and Maksim, 17. And let’s not forget about her rock-solid relationship with her husband, Valeri Bure. The couple has been together for an impressive 23 years, and their bond remains as strong as ever. “The reality is the glue for us is Jesus,” Candace once told People magazine. “It’s the Bible. You know, when there are arguments or we’re compromising and in ways, it’s always like, ‘Well, let’s just go back to the Bible. It’s the foundation for us. So it’s not about winning or losing. But doing this journey together.”
